Vent Session: An Improv Comedy Experience

Saturday, October 17, 2026 | 7:00–9:00 PM
The Venue on 35th | Norfolk, Virginia

Say it. Laugh at it. Leave a little lighter.

Life can be a lot. Vent Session gives you a place to put some of it down.

Submit what is getting under your skin anonymously, hear a grounded mental health perspective from a licensed counselor, and watch comedian Kymberli Tucker and an improv team turn real-life chaos into a completely unscripted live show.

No judgment. No lectures. No scripts. Just honest perspective, big laughs, and a room full of people who understand that sometimes you need to say it out loud and laugh.

How Vent Session Works

Your anonymous vent becomes perspective, connection, and comedy.

Vent Session process: submit a vent, gain perspective, and turn it into comedy

1. Drop It in the Bucket

Write down whatever you need to get off your chest and place it anonymously in the F*ck It Bucket. You can participate as much or as little as you want.

2. Get Some Perspective

Licensed counselor Chris Conley offers a brief, practical mental health perspective on the themes that come up.

3. Watch It Become Comedy

Kymberli Tucker and the improv team use the vents as inspiration for a completely unscripted performance.

Meet Your Hosts

Kymberli Tucker

Comedian and Creator

Kymberli created Vent Session to give people a place to be honest about what is driving them crazy and discover what happens when everyday frustration becomes comedy.

Chris Conley, LPC

Licensed Counselor and Founder, Open Harbor Consulting

Chris brings practical, accessible mental health perspective to the room, helping the audience recognize what may be underneath the vent without turning the evening into a workshop.

What to Expect

Two hours of live, completely unscripted comedy. Submit a vent anonymously or simply enjoy the show. No one has to speak or be put on the spot.

Mental wellness without a workshop. The perspective is grounded and useful, but this is still a night out with food, drinks, laughter, and a room full of people ready to let go.
